7/10 Another good confident display by Adam and he has finally lost the title 'Five Goal Pooler' which for a goalkeeper is never a good nickname (he's never been on the losing side though). His handling was great and a couple of good saves, particularly from one-on-ones, keep the goals against column down for him and the team | | 6/10 Worked very hard and covered a lot of ground. Good tackling and waltzed through the visiting midfield on more than one occasion in the second half. Nevertheless was a bit below par from his usual game and has obviously been taking shooting lessons from Graeme Little. |

6/10 Had to be subbed off at halftime due to foot injury but was solid enough, if workmanlike, in the back four for his forty-five minutes. Got caught out a few times but had the misfortune to be facing one of the oppositions two good players whilst playing in a quagmire. | | 7/10 A slightly better display by Graeme and a well taken goal made it 2-0 and relaxed the team. At times can be annoying by cajoling his team but then 'practicing what he preaches' but that's enough from me because I don't want the e-mails. So in short a better performance but still room for improvement. |

6/10 Slightly off key first half but picked up for the second forty-five. Playing on a sticky surface against a very good forward did not help his cause but nevertheless did not let the team or himself down and once again proved that most of the time he is a very difficult defender to get past! | | 7/10 A usual Gary was the focus of the fouling and kicking by the opposition but he played well and caused constant problems for the visitors by running, battling and tackling for ninety minutes. His efforts deserved a goal but in the end it does not matter because he certainly made a valuable contribution to the win. |

Booked 74 minutes - showing dissent to the official. 6/10 Like most of the team had a slightly poor first half that picked up in the second half, therefore probably loses a mark and certainly loses a mark for a pointless booking although his cause was probably just. When Pete plays well he looks good but sometimes lapses in concentration let him down. | | Booked 48 minutes - showing dissent to the official. 8/10 (Man of the Match) Only got one goal but made at least two others and had six shots all on target. Other than maybe bulging the net a least one more time what more can you ask a forward to do in a game? Boggy horrible conditions, a nit-picking referee and some dubious offsides - none of it seems to knock the enthusiasm or hard work out of Phil. Got booked for accusing the opposition of cheating on an 'offside'. |

6/10 Not quite on the form he was the previous week but certainly did not do any harm to his cause. Had a tendency to get caught out going forward but worked hard and put some good tackles in when they were needed. More like the Dan Affleck we are used to. Can sometimes appear to become invisible in matches and needs to stamp his authority at times. | | 7/10 (Numpty) (Strovey's Man of the Match) Did not like being substitute and when he got his chance he came on and scored two goals, (one a great individual effort), to prove his point, which was well made in my book. Got the Numpty for lashing one wide when it was easier to put it in and comedy diving but Dave wouldn't be 'Double D' if he did not do that occasionally! Still did enough to prove to me he cares about playing for DOB despite the p*ss-taking and turning up drunk now and then. A good display for me! |
